Booking Policy

In-Home Personal Chef Services

In-Home Meal Prep and Package Services: are available Monday to Saturday between 8:30 am to 6 pm with the last appointment time at 2 pm. On occasion, we may be able to accept last minute scheduling changes. Services are not available on national holidays.

Chef Prep and Serve: Available daily. Please contact us to check holiday availability and special pricing. 

Additional Fees

An additional fee(s) may be applied to your services for clients requesting additional servings, additional meals, add-on services, special requests, unprepped kitchens (ie. sink full of dirty dishes, garbage full, dishwasher full, etc.), special container orders, ordering of kitchen utensils, special dietary needs, clients following restrictive diets, coordination with clients health care provider, nutritionist or dietitian, and clients with food analysis/food sensitivity diet charts.

Catering

Is available daily, excluding holidays. Please contact us to check holiday availability and service minimums.

Please refer to our catering services page to find current catering minimums.  These minimums must be met in order for us to provide you with catering services.

Cancellations

In-Home Personal Chef Services

In order for us to book services, we require the service fee to be paid in full. By paying the service fee we are reserving your assigned cook date and time. We turn down other clients wanting services during your specified date and time. For this reason, Kale Personal Chef Services will issue a refund minus 33.33% for clients who cancel in-home personal chef services greater than 5 business days of your scheduled service.

If you cancel services within 24 hours of your service, you will receive a service credit which is valid for 6 months from the date of your original canceled service date. This service credit is non-transferrable.

If Kale Personal Chef Services has to cancel your services due to client failing to complete food questionnaire within requested time and client has paid the service fee, client will have the option to receive a refund minus 33.33% or will receive a service credit in the full amount which is valid for 6 months from the date of the original cancelled appointment.

No Access

If we are unable to access the property during our scheduled arrival time a $100 cancellation fee will apply and the full-cost of groceries will be billed.  If we have to wait to gain access a $75 per hour no-access fee will be applied.
