Kale Chef Service is a woman and chef owned Charcuterie Bar and Gourmet Catering Service in North Scottsdale. Specializing in artfully crafted charcuterie boards, catering, and gifts. 

We work with local farms and purveyors to source the finest ingredients available for our seasonal offerings. As a growing team, we’re seeking individuals who share in our commitment in providing our customers with exceptional dining and hospitality experiences.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a dishwasher and prep cook, you are responsible for washing dishes, slicing and portioning cheeses, meats, jams and dips, bread, and accompaniments (nuts, dried fruit, etc.). Complete packaging of our house-made items (ie. salad dressings, dips, etc.). 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Food Handlers Card 
21+ years of age 
Legal to work in the U.S.
Slice and portion food products by our production prep list
Work fast in an efficient manner 
Warm, inviting, and personable demeanor
Ability to follow directions, complete tasks, and work well with others
Reliable transportation
Professional, clean, and personable appearance
Pre-employment background check

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a line cook, you are responsible for fabricating proteins, preparing and portioning food by our daily production schedule, and following recipes according to company standards and the health department.  Ability to make simple baked goods and pastries (ie. cookies, brownies, etc.)

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in scratch kitchen (restaurant, caterer) as a line cook
  • Has consistently worked at the same restaurant or caterer
  • Attention to detail
  • Food Handlers Card (Food Manager Certification Preferred)
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs 
  • Ability to work in hot and/or cold work environments
  • Legal to work in the U.S.
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with our production schedule
  • Work fast in an efficient manner 
  • Professional, Clean, Warm, Inviting, and Personable demeanor
  • Ability to follow directions, complete tasks, and work well with others

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a prep cook and front counter charcuterie board associate, you are responsible for using an electric slicer to slice meats, cheeses, preparing and portioning food by our daily production schedule, and following recipes according to company standards and the health department.  Ability to prepare and package goods to company standards. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience working in scratch kitchen (restaurant, caterer) as a line cook
  • Has consistently worked at the same restaurant or caterer
