JOB DESCRIPTION

An In-Home Cook II at Kale is responsible for all aspects of food and beverage planning, shopping, preparation and packaging in accordance with the client’s preferences, Kale’s policies and dietary needs. As a team member, you will work with clients in creating menus focused on nutrient-dense ingredients, as well as local, seasonal and organic ingredients.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT HIRING REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of professional cooking experience in a fine dining restaurant, private home and/or high-end caterer
  • Intermediate/advanced google office skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Formal culinary degree and/or certificate (preferred but not required)
  • ServSafe food protection manager certification (current)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Legal to work in the U.S.
  • Provide 2+ employment references
  • Clean, reliable and insured vehicle
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hrs a day
  • Willing to undergo a comprehensive background check
