  • Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, clinical nutrition, public health nutrition, or a related field
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification, Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), and/or state license as required by law
  • 2+ years of RD experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs

As a prep cook you will be responsible for washing/cleaning produce, prepping ingredients, portioning, cooking, packaging, kitchen cleanup and organizing. A successful candidate will contribute in minimizing food and product waste, while providing continued customer satisfaction.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge and experience working with commercial kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of various cooking methods and procedures
  • Attend daily staff meeting with sous chef and/or executive chef
  • Follow daily prep sheet and instructions given by sous chef
  • Prepare food for cooking (ie. washing fruits and vegetables, meat and/or seafood fabrication, etc.)
